So, I bought a Smart Alex off of eBay back in December, 2015. He connects to a PC running Windows 95 or 98 via a serial port, and has voice recognition. He is using a Pentium II processor running at 300 MHz. He can play simple learning games, and he knows the current time based on the system clock. He's really cute! I really wouldn't call him a Furby fake. I would call him just another company trying to get on the interactive talking toy bandwagon. Sometimes him and the base station don't work right. I'm not sure why this happens.

Though it isn't a fake furby, it's still an interesting toy! I think the company behind it went out of business a few years after releasing the toy or something.
